Paella & Orange Juice: Valencian Cuisine

Paella and fresh O.J. isn't something you necessarily have together in Valencia, but the city is known for both of these "delicacies," as one may call them.
The Valencian Paella is a rice dish with chicken and rabbit. But Valencia is known for all kinds of paella...really, really good paella.

Ever heard of Valencian oranges? If you buy them in the store, here's where they come from! Right there on the Valencian beach boardwalk, hanging from an orange tree. Casual.

The orange juice in Valencia is so fresh and so smooth. Drinking regular orange juice now will only make me sad.
We also endulged in some chicken croquetas and a stir-fry type dish with chicken and vegetables. Valencia's seafood is pretty good, too. The fried calamari is to die for.

Oh, and I also had some nice red wine and cheesecake with blueberries on top. YUM.
