My Piso!

Finding an affordable, but still adorably cute Spanish-style piso was not an easy task, but definitely a good learning experience! I visited about three places total by setting up appointments, making sure there were three rooms available and it wasn't through an agency (or else you pay a fee) and that it was a close enough commute to my school and also the city center.

When I walked into the piso I am currently moved into now (since TODAY), I fell in love immediatley. It has three rooms: one for my best friend from high school, Kate; another for my friend from Vanderbilt, Bayley and the most smallest (yet I like to say "most quaint") room for me. It of course also has a living area with tons of natural light, a decent-sized kitchen and bathroom.

The way the piso is decorated is my favorite aspect about it. It's beautiful and so homey. Most of my other friends have had to buy a couple of furniture pieces and decorate themselves (not to mention buy plates, appliances, etc.) but ours came with all of it! Talk about a money saver.

I'm holding back from posting too many photos of the apartment as of now because I'm waiting until we are all officially moved in, photos are up, etc. But here are a few!

Gotta have a piso selfie...(P.S. The landlord-sweetest lady on earth who only speaks Spanish-painted all the paintings in the piso!)
